Karen has been involved in theater and music since high school. She has a passion for musical theater. She loves how theater brings people together and is a place to find and share joy.

Elizabeth discovered a love of performing at a young age and has been trying to make people laugh ever since. When she’s not chasing her kids or doing theatre, she loves reading, making art of any kind, creative writing, singing, and Jane Austen. With EMCT since 2022.

Kylee was involved in music and theater all through elementary school up through her first semester of college. When life got busy, performing took a back seat but after years of missing it and a couple of moves she searched for local community theaters and found EMCT. Kylee has loved working with EMCT as a performer since 2022. She is excited to be a part of the board in hopes to reach all those looking for the chance to get back into theater.

Austin is new to the theater world but is excited to bring his passion for community and creativity to the EMCT board. With a background in marketing and events, he hopes to help grow and support the theater’s mission of providing quality productions and enriching the local arts scene.

Sam has loved getting involved with theatre here at EMCT. Same got involved with theatre a few years ago after watching his sister perform at her school play and he was immediately attached to it. When he’s not doing theatre, Sam enjoys playing basketball.

Jerid has been acting for 20+ years, including several courses in college. He enjoys nights out singing karaoke and believes that everyone should be on stage at least once.

University of Utah graduate in Vocal Performance.  Vocal coach for Stage Hanna for 5 years including a lead role of Sandy in Grease. With EMCT for 3 years serving as their vocal director and treasurer.

Meg has been involved in music her whole life. Starting at 5 years old in dance, she quickly moved to choir and a variety of instruments. She’s happy to be involved here at EMCT and wants to share it with you all!

Melissa was involved in theatre throughout High School. She got involved with it again through EMCT more recently. She especially loves musicals and singing. Her motto is that it’s never too late to follow your dreams!

Melissa Sauser first joined Eagle Mountain Community Theater by helping backstage with Honk Jr., then performed as Angus in Macbeth, and later appeared in The Music Man. While performing in The Music Man, she decided to take on a larger role by joining the board. She also serves on the Eagle Mountain Performing Arts Coalition, representing EMCT. Melissa has always had a passion for the arts and being involved in the community. After moving to Eagle Mountain from Minnesota three years ago, she’s grateful to have discovered such a welcoming theater community. She loves how inclusive EMCT is and how they offer everyone who truly wants to perform the chance to shine. She is excited to help continue fostering this wonderful community and to see it grow.

Miriam Sauser

High School Rep

Miriam Sauser is thrilled to be a student representative on the EMCT board and can’t wait to learn more about how everything comes together behind the scenes. She’s always eager to help wherever she can, whether on stage or off, and loves being part of a theater community that feels like home. Most recently, she had a blast playing Gracie Shinn in The Music Man. Before that, she embraced the challenge of playing Young Siward in Macbeth, fully enjoying the chance to go out in a dramatic fight scene. Her EMCT journey started as Henrietta in Honk! Jr., and before that, she performed as a seagull in The Little Mermaid and sang in musical theater ensembles in Minnesota.
