Join us for another Murder Mystery Night featuring members of the Eagle Mountain Community Theatre Board, hosted by Taqueria 27!
Everyone’s an art critic… but who’s serious enough to kill over it?! Find out in Murder at the Art Show, a comedy murder mystery by Michael Druce.
Sloane Akers is doing her best to keep afloat the Harriet Anderson Gallery (aka HAG), the art gallery she inherited from her late Aunt Harriet. Standing in her way is Harriet’s conniving boyfriend, Jacob Smote, who wants to tear down the gallery and replace it with a sports complex.
Desperate to save the gallery, Sloane plans to unveil a previously unseen masterpiece—her friend Maryann Manet’s lost Monet—along with works of some other well-known artists, including abstract painter Paxton Haddock and commercially successful gnome house artist extraordinaire, Tabitha Cincannon. But Jason hates all that “pretentious mumbo jumbo” and plots to wreck the evening by inviting slimy chauvinist and everybody’s ex-boyfriend, Blake Slocombe, to serve as emcee for Sloane’s make-or-break showing.
